PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZONA — Yesterday, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), in partnership with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration, held the second in a series of pinning ceremonies for local Vietnam War veterans at VFW Post 10227 in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
“Arizona is home to more than 184,000 Vietnam War Veterans. Many of these heroes who protected our freedoms and sacrificed immensely in defense of our great nation never received the gratitude and recognition they so righteously earned,” said Rep. Crane. “I feel blessed to be able to participate in making sure these men and women are rightfully honored for their service.”
The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration program is a national 50th anniversary commemoration authorized by Congress.
Thousands of organizations have joined the Vietnam War Commemoration program to honor veterans across the United States. As the representative for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District, Rep. Crane has chosen to partner with them to ensure that Vietnam War veterans and their families are recognized for their service and sacrifice to our country.
