El Paso, TX – Today, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), alongside fellow members of the Homeland Security Committee, visited the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, TX. The delegation saw, firsthand, the challenges our Border Patrol officers face in the El Paso Sector. During the visit, members witnessed a drug bust in real time, highlighting the severe drug trafficking issue plaguing our nation and the failure of the Biden Administration to disincentivize smugglers.

“The Biden Administration has abandoned the American people and undermined our national security by encouraging our border to be overrun. President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas have stopped construction of the border wall, halted deportations, suspended “Remain-in-Mexico,” refuse to enforce our laws, and continue to incentivize more illegal crossings.

“It’s not only a dereliction of duty, but a betrayal of the American people they swore to protect.”
