Representative Crane is honored to represent over half of the Tribes in Arizona and has worked closely with Tribal communities to expand economic opportunity. He has introduced legislation to strengthen SBA outreach, supported multiple water‑rights settlements, advanced efforts to expand energy development, and helped strengthen partnerships between Tribal communities and federal administration officials.
He has also worked to secure increased investment in health care for Tribal veterans, supported grant applications for health care infrastructure, and introduced legislation to formally establish a reservation for the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe. Rep. Crane believes Tribal nations should have authority over the management of their lands and that the federal government must be a reliable partner. He values the strong relationships he has built with Tribal leaders and remains committed to protecting Tribal sovereignty.
