Rep. Crane Introduces Bill to Rename Ash Fork Post Office in Honor of Fayrene Hume

On Friday, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) introduced H.R. 4919 to designate the post office at 765 West Old Route 66 in Ash Fork, Arizona, as the “Fayrene Hume Post Office.”

Mrs. Hume was a longtime public servant who founded the Ash Fork Historical Society and Museum. She was a dedicated historian and an instrumental force in driving economic and educational development in Ash Fork.

This legislation honors the extraordinary service of this beloved community member and serves as a lasting tribute to her outstanding contributions.

“Fayrene Hume understood the importance of pursuing mission over comfort and tirelessly worked to support the Ash Fork community,” said Rep. Crane. “I’m honored to introduce this bill, which memorializes her selfless service and remarkable legacy.”
