This week, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and tribal nations that sustained economic losses due to the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires.
The disaster declaration, issued on August 13, covers Coconino, Gila, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai Counties.
Through this declaration, SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program is now available to eligible businesses in these affected areas.
These loans are designed to help cover working capital needs and operating expenses that could have been paid had the disasters not occurred.
