On Friday, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) visited Globe and Miami, Arizona, to meet with local leaders in the aftermath of last weekend’s devastating floods.

Currently, communities in Gila County are dealing with widespread destruction of homes, businesses, and infrastructure.

Since the disaster, Rep. Crane and his team have been working with local, state, and federal officials on response efforts. He fully supports all avenues of assistance, including requests to agencies such as the Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture, FEMA, and the Federal Highway Administration.

“Our prayers are with everyone impacted in Gila County, especially the families who lost loved ones during this catastrophe,” said Rep. Crane. “My team and I are in constant contact with federal, state, and local partners, and we appreciate the response of community leaders and the dedication of first responders. Although this flooding is devastating, it’s inspiring to see thousands of volunteers helping their fellow Arizonans during this crisis.
