Rep. Crane Helps Deliver Reauthorization of Secure Rural Schools Program

Last night, the House of Representatives passed a reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools (SRS) program, which was supported by Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ). The three-year extension now heads to President Trump’s desk for his signature.

This guarantees funding in rural jurisdictions for schools and other essential services without solely depending on revenue from the U.S. Forest Service. Rep. Crane fought hard for this extension, which is a win for every single county in Arizona’s Second Congressional District.

“I’m proud to join my colleagues in reauthorizing the Secure Rural Schools program to provide vital support for schools in rural Arizona,” said Rep. Crane. “This extension secures much-needed stability and funding. This is a positive outcome, and I will always fight for those I represent.”
