Energy

Rep. Crane understands American energy dominance improves national security and lowers costs for families. Throughout his tenure, he has supported policies that expand domestic production, prioritize reliable energy sources, and reduce government interference. In addition to backing H.R. 1 in the 118th Congress, he has consistently opposed taxpayer‑funded subsidies tied to the so-called “Green New Deal.”

He has also worked to block federal EV mandates, stop unpopular wind and solar subsidies, and expand oil and gas leasing at home. Rep. Crane remains focused on restoring American energy independence and protecting consumers from costly federal overreach.
